Heck no. These meal plans are filled with flavorful dishes that are designed to fill you up and leave you feeling satisfied and excited to keep going. The recipes within these plans also include suggestions for ways to mix it up with produce, spices, and other ingredients you may have on-hand.

DO I NEED TO FOLLOW THIS MEAL PLAN EXACTLY?

Nope! Food prices vary depending on where you live, so feel free to substitute the most affordable fruits, veggies, and grains that you can find in your area. These meal plans are built to be very flexible, and include many creative ideas for ingredient substitutions and add-ins. 

HOW MANY PEOPLE DOES THIS MEAL PLAN FEED?

This meal plan is designed to feed one person three meals a day (breakfast, lunch and dinner) for 5-7 days (depending on the meal plan you choose).

WHEN DO I START?

As soon as you’re ready! Pick a day to shop for everything you need for the week using the shopping list we provide, and then start the following day.

WILL THIS TAKE A LOT OF TIME?

Ask yourself, "Do I have more time or more money?" and plan your week accordingly. If you have more time, make your beans from scratch. If you have more money, save time by purchasing canned beans.

You can also save time by cutting all your veggies and cooking your beans and rice on your day off.  Then store them in the refrigerator for easy access throughout the week. Plus, we're saving you loads of time by doing much of the planning for you. 

CAN EVERYTHING BE MADE GLUTEN-FREE? 

Absolutely! Everything in this meal plan is made from scratch using basic ingredients, so you'll just make a few simple substitutions. For example, when you see pasta or cereal in a recipe, just make sure you get a gluten-free variety (like quinoa pasta or corn-based cereal). 

WHAT ABOUT SNACKS?

Our meal plan tribe kept asking for budget-friendly snack ideas, so we got to work and created this snacks cookbook with recipes to meet every craving in between meals. It's a companion guide to our meal plans, and you can find it here!
